Stephen M. Bartoli, David C. Bartoli, and Patrick P. Bartoli, with advisors W. Craig McLean and William T. Duval, joined Wells Fargo Advisors' employee channel from Morgan Stanley in Lemoyne, Pennsylvania, on May 5, 2026. A Wells Fargo spokesperson told AdvisorHub the practice, Bartoli Private Wealth Management Group, produced $9.1 million in annual revenue and oversaw $1.5 billion in assets at Morgan Stanley. Financial Planning reported the same $1.5 billion asset figure for an eight-person team and did not publish the revenue number. InvestmentNews described the book as nearly $1.5 billion. The $9.1 million figure, in the coverage reviewed here, comes from the Wells spokesperson via AdvisorHub, not from a Morgan Stanley filing.
Who moved, and who had already spent a career at Morgan Stanley?
AdvisorHub and Financial Planning both describe a five-advisor practice plus three support staff. InvestmentNews named the support staff as Leigh Beshaw, Kristen Rodriguez, and Andrea Taylor. The group's public Wells Fargo Advisors page lists the office at 3 Lemoyne Drive, Suite 200, Lemoyne, Pennsylvania 17043, which matches the branch on Stephen Bartoli's BrokerCheck report.
| Person | Role in the coverage | Registration note |
| --- | --- | --- |
| Stephen M. Bartoli | Lead advisor; brother | Series 7 passed September 23, 1999; Morgan Stanley DW from September 1999; Wells Fargo Clearing Services since May 5, 2026 (CRD 4005464) |
| David C. Bartoli | Lead advisor; brother | Started at Morgan Stanley in 2000, per AdvisorHub and Financial Planning citing career records |
| Patrick P. Bartoli | Lead advisor; brother | Started at Morgan Stanley in 2013, per the same accounts |
| W. Craig McLean | Advisor | Financial Planning: Lehman Brothers in 1983, Smith Barney in 1993, Morgan Stanley in 2009. AdvisorHub: 43 years with Morgan Stanley and predecessor firms |
| William T. Duval | Advisor | Started at Morgan Stanley in 2025, Financial Planning reported; AdvisorHub described less than a year of experience |
| Leigh Beshaw, Kristen Rodriguez, Andrea Taylor | Support | Named by InvestmentNews |
Stephen Bartoli's BrokerCheck report shows the Wells registration, both as a broker with Wells Fargo Clearing Services, LLC (CRD 19616) and as an investment-adviser representative, effective May 5, 2026, at 3 Lemoyne Drive. His Morgan Stanley broker registration in the Camp Hill, Pennsylvania area ran from June 2009 to May 2026, with earlier Morgan Stanley and Morgan Stanley DW registrations in Harrisburg going back to September 1999. That is a continuous wirehouse record at one firm family, not a book assembled from a string of lateral moves. The report's Form U4 employment line lists Morgan Stanley Smith Barney as financial advisor in Camp Hill from June 2009 until May 2026.
This draft did not pull full BrokerCheck reports for David Bartoli, Patrick Bartoli, McLean, or Duval. Their start years above are the trade-press accounts, which those outlets attributed to registration records. Where AdvisorHub's "43 years with Morgan Stanley and its predecessor firms" and Financial Planning's Lehman-to-Smith-Barney-to-Morgan-Stanley path both describe McLean, they are compatible: 1983 through 2026 is 43 years, and Lehman and Smith Barney sit in the Morgan Stanley predecessor line.
What did the local Wells manager say?
Ken Terranova, Greater Pennsylvania market leader, said in a statement quoted by WealthManagement.com that the team "was drawn to our model that combines the scale and capabilities clients expect with hands-on support and strong local resources to deliver a truly high-touch experience." AdvisorHub's shorter rendering used the phrases "scale and capabilities" and "strong local resources." InvestmentNews quoted Terranova saying that, at Wells, the team is "empowered to collaborate closely with specialized teams across the firm." The advisors themselves did not comment to AdvisorHub. A Morgan Stanley spokesperson declined to comment, that outlet reported.
The move is inside the employee channel. Stephen Bartoli is registered with Wells Fargo Clearing Services, not with Wells Fargo Advisors Financial Network, the independent contractor broker-dealer. Terranova's language is about scale and local coverage, not about hanging out an independent shingle.
Which figures belong to Lemoyne, and which belong to other hires that week?
AdvisorHub called the Bartoli group Wells' third billion-dollar team in a week and said the firm had, that Friday, landed a Morgan Stanley team with nearly $6 billion in New York and a separate team with $1.6 billion in Texas. Financial Planning identified the New York group as The Taylor Group, a 19-person team that had managed roughly $6 billion, and described the Texas group as a 14-person team that had managed roughly $1.6 billion. WealthManagement.com, in a May 6 roundup, put the New York Morgan Stanley team's assets at $5.9 billion and the separate Texas announcement at more than $1.6 billion. Those are other practices. They are not add-ons to the spokesperson's $1.5 billion for Lemoyne, and the $9.1 million revenue figure has not been published, in the sources above, for anyone but the Bartoli group.
WealthManagement.com also noted that Wells Fargo's wealth division moved its headquarters to West Palm Beach this year, and that the firm had said on its most recent earnings call that expenses were up 11 percent on higher revenue-related compensation for wealth managers. AdvisorHub, citing a rival-firm manager, reported that Wells was offering cash hiring bonuses near the top of the market for high-end teams, and that the wealth division had just posted a third straight quarter of hiring advisors who produced at least $100 million combined at their former firms. The $100 million threshold is a firmwide production screen. It is not this team's revenue. This team's reported revenue is $9.1 million.
The spokesperson's two numbers are what a reader can actually use. They are the book the team oversaw at Morgan Stanley, as Wells was willing to describe it on May 6. AdvisorHub did not define whether $1.5 billion is gross assets, assets under management, or a figure that includes money the team does not expect to transfer. No client count, fee-versus-commission mix, or lending balance appears in the AdvisorHub, Financial Planning, InvestmentNews, or WealthManagement.com accounts.
Individual registration dates for the other four advisors, if and when they post, are the kind of line [Advisor Pulse](https://intersectionadvisory.com/pulse) is meant to keep separate from a roundup headline. How often a multi-decade Morgan Stanley family practice chooses another employee's wirehouse channel, rather than an RIA, is a pattern question for the [Crossroads report](https://intersectionadvisory.com/crossroads-report), not a conclusion this one announcement can carry by itself.
